How It Works

Pick a destination.
Six are live right now: Costa Rica, Iceland, Peru, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Alaska. The game starts when you land.

Collect badges by being there.
Every destination has hundreds of badges — restaurants, trails, beaches, wildlife spots, cultural moments. Show up in person, take a photo, GPS confirms it. Yours. Points hit your account immediately.

Watch your rank.
Every point goes on a live leaderboard — weekly, monthly, all-time. You can see exactly where you stand against everyone else playing. Your rank is yours to protect, or climb.
04Watch out
Beware the Tourist Traps.
We planted fake badges in every destination — things that look real but don't actually exist there. Try to collect one and you don't just miss out. You lose points. It's a knowledge test. Paying attention is worth something. Guessing wrong costs you.
05The True
Find The True.
At the crown of every badge catalog sits a category called The True. Daily rituals and lived moments that belong to the culture of a place — things that happen whether or not a tourist is around. The only way to collect a True badge is with a Local Pro who knows where and when to take you. You can't plan for them. You have to be shown.

Ody grows with you.
Start as a Newcomer. Keep collecting and Ody changes — visually, in status, in what you can access. Work your way to Local Legend. Every stage reflects how far you've gone.

Get rewarded by the places you visited.
Points are redeemable. Local hotels, restaurants, and operators fund real prizes for the milestones you hit. You collected them by going. They give them back because you went.
